Departure Day

It is departure day and the usual frantic activity. We are going to miss our appointment with One Day University in favor of getting everything ready to go. Even though it is only a week, it always seems like we are preparing to leave for ever.

We are both a bit stiff from the 'crawl' yesterday with the Pope.L art project but I guess that will work itself out.

The agonizing crawl for Pope.L
We are going to be going into much cooler weather in Canada so we need to pack some heavier clothes even though the temperature when we leave will be in the 80's F (upper 20's C). The weather will cool down during the week here and then maybe heat up again at the end.

We are checked in for the flight which seems to be on time. We should arrive at Vancouver around 9 p.m. local time. We then pick up the car and drive a short distance to our stay for the night before setting of for the hinterland tomorrow.

The plane will be delayed half an hour so we have put back the pick-up with the car service until 3.45 p.m. to give us some breathing room and to get the place ready for Lisa who will come to stay over next Saturday evening with Sofia.
